The MAN TGM 4×4 is built on a 13 tonne GVM chassis with a 4250 mm wheelbase, giving a solid base for a fixed roof camper body without compromising manoeuvrability. It runs the MAN D0836 6.9 litre engine, available in two power outputs to suit different load and towing requirements, paired with a ZF 12 speed automated transmission.
The AWD system uses a two speed transfer case with planetary axles for higher ground clearance, along with differential locks and a hill climb brake to hold the vehicle on an incline without rolling back. On models with the disengageable transfer case, you can run in two wheel drive on sealed roads to save fuel and reduce driveline wear, then engage all wheel drive when conditions call for it.
